USA's foreign trade with Portugal, exports to Portugal and imports from Portugal in November 2021

The text of the following analysis is produced by a computer program. The program is a test version and its rule base at this stage is still quite limited.

Major product categories of imports from Portugal were Sitc334 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude); preparations, n.e.s., containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals, these oils being the basic constituents of the prepar), representing 12.5 percent of imports, Sitc542 (medicaments (including veterinary medicaments)) 5.1 % and Sitc658 (made-up articles, wholly or chiefly of textile materials, n.e.s.) 5.0 % of the imports.

Exports to Portugal grew strongly over the previous year's November. The value of exports was $190 million. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc343 (natural gas, whether or not liquefied), which represented a share of 30.0 per cent of total exports, Sitc222 (oil-seeds and oleaginous fruits of a kind used for the extraction of *soft* fixed vegetable oils (excluding flours and meals)) 17.5 % and Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof) 10.7 % of the exports.

In export the largest value had Sitc343 (natural gas, whether or not liquefied), worth being $496 million.
