USA's foreign trade with Poland, exports to Poland and imports from Poland in November 2021

The text of the following analysis is produced by a computer program. The program is a test version and its rule base at this stage is still quite limited.

In November Poland was USA's 38. most important foreign trade partner. Amounting trade to worth of $1.6 billion was 48.0 per cent bigger than in November of the previous year. In November the trade balance with Poland was $217 million in deficit for United States of America.

The value of imports from Poland was 28.0 per cent higher than in November of the previous year, thus amounting to $894 million. Major product categories of imports from Poland were Sitc714 (engines and motors, non-electric (other than those of groups 712, 713 and 718); parts, n.e.s., of these engines and motors), representing 7.9 percent of imports, Sitc778 (electrical machinery and apparatus, n.e.s.) 5.0 % and Sitc821 (furniture and parts thereof; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings) 5.0 % of the imports.

Exports to Poland grew strongly over the previous year's November. The value of exports was $677 million. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc343 (natural gas, whether or not liquefied), which represented a share of 16.9 per cent of total exports, Sitc333 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude) 11.0 % and Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof) 7.5 % of the exports.

Development during January-November 2021

During January-November trade in goods with Poland has grown slower than USA's trade in goods with the rest of the world. During January-November, the value of trade in goods between the two countries rose to $14.3 billion. Growth compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was 15.3 percent. During January-November the value of imports was $8.9 billion. The export value was $5.4 billion. Compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the value of imports increased by 13.2 % and the value of exports by 18.9 %. The largest product group in terms of imports has been Sitc714 (engines and motors, non-electric (other than those of groups 712, 713 and 718); parts, n.e.s., of these engines and motors), worth $710 million. In export the largest value had Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof), worth being $746 million. From USA's point of view, the trade balance between the countries in January-November remained in deficit. The trade deficit was $3.6 billion. The trade deficit continued to widen compared to the corresponding period in 2020. At that time, the deficit was $3.4 billion.
