The value of imports from Oman decreased strongly, by 48.1 per cent compared to in February of the previous year. The import amounted to $79 million in February 2025. Major product categories of imports from Oman were Sitc582 (plates, sheets, film, foil and strip, of plastics), representing 31.8 percent of imports, Sitc684 (aluminium) 31.4 % and Sitc897 (jewellery, goldsmiths' and silversmiths' wares, and other articles of precious or semiprecious materials, n.e.s.) 11.7 % of the imports.
The value of exports to Oman declined by 23.8 per cent compared to in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $101 million in February 2025. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc781 (motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (other than motor vehicles for the transport of ten or more persons, including the driver), including station-wagons and racing cars), which represented a share of 42.7 per cent of total exports, Sitc897 (jewellery, goldsmiths' and silversmiths' wares, and other articles of precious or semiprecious materials, n.e.s.) 5.3 % and Sitc782 (motor vehicles for the transport of goods and special-purpose motor vehicles) 4.5 % of the exports.
