Major product categories of imports from Spain were Sitc334 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude); preparations, n.e.s., containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals, these oils being the basic constituents of the prepar), representing 7.4 percent of imports, Sitc542 (medicaments (including veterinary medicaments)) 6.5 % and Sitc421 (fixed vegetable fats and oils, *soft*, crude, refined or fractionated) 3.6 % of the imports.
