USA's foreign trade with Lithuania, exports to Lithuania and imports from Lithuania in April 2021

The text of the following analysis is produced by a computer program. The program is a test version and its rule base at this stage is still quite limited.

In April Lithuania was USA's 67. largest foreign trade partner. Amounting trade to worth of $304 million was 137.6 per cent bigger than in April of the previous year. In April the trade balance with Lithuania was $36 million in deficit for United States of America.

The value of imports from Lithuania was 133.3 per cent higher than in April of the previous year, thus amounting to $170 million. Major product categories of imports from Lithuania were Sitc598 (miscellaneous chemical products, n.e.s.), representing 20.7 percent of imports, Sitc334 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude); preparations, n.e.s., containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals, these oils being the basic constituents of the prepar) 14.4 % and Sitc562 (fertilizers (other than those of group 272)) 12.8 % of the imports.

Exports to Lithuania more than doubled from the previous year's April. The value of exports was $134 million. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc781 (motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (other than motor vehicles for the transport of ten or more persons, including the driver), including station-wagons and racing cars), which represented a share of 22.9 per cent of total exports, Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof) 20.6 % and Sitc343 (natural gas, whether or not liquefied) 16.4 % of the exports.
