The value of imports from Pakistan was 16.9 per cent higher than in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $338 million. Major product categories of imports from Pakistan were Sitc658 (made-up articles, wholly or chiefly of textile materials, n.e.s.), representing 33.5 percent of imports, Sitc845 (articles of apparel, of textile fabrics, whether or not knitted or crocheted, n.e.s.) 12.9 % and Sitc842 (women's or girls' coats, capes, jackets, suits, trousers, shorts, shirts, dresses and skirts, underwear, nightwear and similar articles of textile fabrics, not knitted or crocheted (other than those of subgroup 845.2)) 7.6 % of the imports.
The value of exports to Pakistan declined by 21.9 per cent compared to in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $245 million in February 2021. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc263 (cotton), which represented a share of 36.7 per cent of total exports, Sitc222 (oil-seeds and oleaginous fruits of a kind used for the extraction of *soft* fixed vegetable oils (excluding flours and meals)) 9.9 % and Sitc282 (ferrous waste and scrap; remelting scrap ingots of iron or steel) 9.7 % of the exports.
