The value of imports from Sweden was 2.6 per cent higher than in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $1.1 billion. Major product categories of imports from Sweden were Sitc781 (motor cars and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (other than motor vehicles for the transport of ten or more persons, including the driver), including station-wagons and racing cars), representing 18.1 percent of imports, Sitc542 (medicaments (including veterinary medicaments)) 6.4 % and Sitc334 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude); preparations, n.e.s., containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals, these oils being the basic constituents of the prepar) 4.9 % of the imports.
The value of exports to Sweden declined by 13.0 per cent compared to in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $340 million in February 2021.
