The value of imports from Brazil decreased by 18.9 per cent compared to in November of the previous year, thus amounting to $1.9 billion in November 2020. Major product categories of imports from Brazil were Sitc333 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude), representing 8.4 percent of imports, Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof) 7.6 % and Sitc931 (special transactions and commodities not classified according to kind) 6.8 % of the imports.
The value of exports to Brazil declined by 21.3 per cent compared to in November of the previous year, thus amounting to $3.2 billion in November 2020. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc334 (petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude); preparations, n.e.s., containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals, these oils being the basic constituents of the prepar), which represented a share of 16.4 per cent of total exports, Sitc792 (aircraft and associated equipment; spacecraft (including satellites) and spacecraft launch vehicles; parts thereof) 11.8 % and Sitc343 (natural gas, whether or not liquefied) 6.0 % of the exports.
